My history with breed:

I have been involved in the showing, breeding and raising of American Staffordshire Terrier for twelve years now. My bloodline is based on the Ruffian Line, which is one of the top winning bloodlines to date. I have a very strict breeding program which includes a lot of research on hereditary defects and deseases. I screen all my dogs for canine hip dysplasia, Patella Luxation and several other hereditary defects. The most important thing for me is the character of my Am Staffs. I don't like agressive or shy dogs. All my dogs are friendly to all people and animals and have an outgoing temperament. Some of their offspring made the Companion Dog test and several are working in Schutzhund. I'm member of the german Club "Gesellschaft der Bullterrierfreunde (GBF)". Besides I'm member of the American & Canadian American Staffordshire Terrier Club and several European Am.Staff Clubs. On the inside of the GBF I'm the chairman of the breeding committee. Mostly I have one litter a year, sometimes two, but never more. Am Staffs are passion in our home!!

1985 I bought my first Am Staff, Aphrodite vom Eisplatz (Hägele's Al Caponex Barway's Jabber Jaws) called Cleo and felt in love with this breed. 1987 my kennel was founded under the name "von Angie's Champ". Cleo had three litters, the first out of Hägele's Ares, the second out of Hägele's Cäsar and the last out of Tippitt's Jumping Jack. At this time it was very hard to find show homes for the puppies, so only three of their offspring reached champion titles. One of her sons went to Yugoslavia and one of her daugthers to Czechoslovakia, to Mrs. Helena Partlova, kennel "Jopar" as foundation bitch.

1989 I got to know the breeder Josh Walstock from Tippitt's kennel. With his support I learned a lot about the breed and could contact breeders in the States and Canada. In the same year we bought a male out of his kennel, Tippitt's Jumping Jack (Tippitt's Andy x Willynwood Angel). With him started the big international show success of our dogs and their offspring. I will present only the most successful dogs and their most important titles. Jack reached the International, German, VDH, Suisse, Austrian and Luxembourg Champion, European Youth Winner 1990 and Clubwinner GBF1992.

1990 I imported Thunderdome's Odie (Roadhouse's El Toro ValientexThunderdome's I'm A Freccle Too) from Canada. She got the International,German and VDH Champion.

1992 I bred her to Jack. I felt that this will be a new beginning and changed my kennel name in "Angie's". The litter felt 3.April 1992. Out of this litter are, Angie's Dion, International, German and VDH Champion, European Youth Winner 93, Clubwinner GBF 94 and Bundessieger 96, Angie's Darryll, International, German and VDH Champion, Clubwinner GBF 1995 and Bundessieger 1994. Angie's Double Point went to Czechoslovakia, kennel "Jopar".

1993 I bred Odie to Sindelar's Fred. Angie's E.B.Nightmare went to Mr.Eugen Ludwig kennel "vom treuen Gefährten" as foundation bitch. 1996 Eugen and I bred her to Tippitt's Yankee Sunny and I picked up a female, Crazy World Of Angie's vom treuen Gefährten. She got International, German, VDH and Luxembourg Champion, Clubwinner GBF 1998, German Youth Champion 97 and Youth Clubwinner 97. She lives now in the kennel "Angel Peak's". Unfortunately Nightmare's brother Angie's Excellent Hot Dog died just 2 years old by accident before he could finish his Champion Titles.

1996 I bred Odie to Tippitt's Yankee Sunny. Angie's Jeremiah Johnson went to Mr. Przyluccy from " Bos Taurus Kennel", Poland. His brother Angie's Johnny Walker Red was 1997 one of the most successfull show male. He got Youth Clubwinner 97, Youth Bundessieger 97 and German Youth Champion 97. Unfortunately 1998 he hurt one leg and couldn't be shown most of the year. He lives in the kennel, von Ronny's Red Company.

1992 I imported Barberycoast Lambada from Canada. She reached International, German &VDH Champion, European Youth Winner 93 and German Youth Champion 93.

1993 I bred her to Barberycoast Blockbuster. Out of this litter are, Angie's Footloose and Angie's FCKW Free, International, German & VDH Champion, German Youth Champion GBF 94. Angie's Fancy Bull starts his show carrier 21 month old. He got International, German & VDH Champion and was #1 dog, German Top Ten Rankings 1998 He will finish Suisse Champion 1999.

1995 I bred Lambada to Jack. Unfortunately most of the puppies had a lot of white and I sold them as pet. Angie's Irish Mike is working for Schutzhund III.

1998 Beginning of october Lambada got her next litter. I bred her to Anthems Barberycoast Odin and got 8 very promising puppies. Two puppies went to Belgium, one to Luxembourg, one to France, one to Italy and one to Canada. We had luck and the owner of Angie's NYPD Blue gave us the possibility to show this female. 1999 she was shown in Germany, Youth class, 11 times and got 10 times excellent 1 place and 1 time excellent 2 place. She reached the German Youth Champion , Youth Clubwinner and Youth Bundessieger. Also we took her to the Worldwinner Show 1999 in Mexico. And unbelievable, 7 month old, she won 4 times her class and one time she got BOS. She got the Mexican Champion title and at least she reached the PUPPY WORLDWINNER. Now in the year 2000 she is working for her International, German etc. Champion titles. NYPD Blue was # 2 female in the German Top Ten Rankings 1999. As soon as she will finish, I will inform you.

1999 end of november Lambada got her last litter. I bred her to Borrasca Reggie and she gave birth to 7 wonderful puppies, 6 males and 1 female. One male went to a Russian breeder. Imperia Staff kennel of Elena Suhanova. Most of the pups will be shown, so watch for them in the show ring mid of 2000.

Out of Lambada's first litter I kept Angie's Future Dream as brood bitch. I didn't show her very much, because she didn't like shows, but she is an excellent brood bitch.

1995 I bred her to Sindelar's Fred. Out of this litter are Angie's Here Comes Trouble, German Youth Champion 96. She had her first litter 1998 and will finish her Champion Titles soon. Her brother Angie's Harley Davidson Man got the Suisse Clubwinner title just nine month old and reached the International, German, VDH & Luxembourg Champion just 22 month old. He was the youngest german Am Staff Champion. Besides he is German Youth Champion 96 and will finish the Suisse Champion soon. In june 1999 we took him to the Worldwinner Show in Mexico. He reached the Mexican and American Champion title and… got VICE WORLDWINNER 1999. Also Harley was the #1 male in the German Top Ten Rankings 1999.

1996 I bred her to Tippitt's Tee Cee. Out of this litter is Angie's Keeper Of The Seven Keys, #2 male of the German Top Ten Rankings 98, German Youth Champion 97 and Clubwinner GBF 98. He reached the International, German, VDH and Mexican Champion. 1999 he was #3 male in the German Top Ten Rankings, even he wasn't shown very often in Germany. Two of his sisters went to an italian breeder as foundation bitches.

1997 She was bred to Wood's EZ Diamondback Dragon. Angie's Lucky Charm went to Yugoslavia and is the youngest Youth Champion in the breed history of this country. Angie's Limited Edition and Angie's Little Red Rooster will start their show carrier 1999.

1995 I bought Sindelar's My Girl Of Angie's from Fred Sindelar. She is German Youth Champion and will finish her Champion titles soon. My Girl was #3 female in the German Top Ten Rankings 1999.

1998 felt her first litter. I bred her to Angie's Fancy Bull. One female went to a canadian breeder and all started their show carrier 1999. Her son Angie's Mott The Hoople got the German Youth Champion 1999, even he was shown only 5 times. He became #5 male in the German Top Ten Rankings 1999.
